Mudad

Also known as: مدد · Mudad platform · Mudad WPS

The short answer

Mudad is a platform linked to the Ministry of Human Resources where private-sector establishments upload the monthly wage file for the Wage Protection Program, and which also offers payroll preparation and salary payment through participating banks. The file must match each employee’s documented contract and GOSI wage.

How it works

Each month the establishment prepares a wage file: for every employee the national ID or iqama number, basic wage and housing allowance, other allowances, deductions, the net amount paid and the bank account. The file is uploaded from the payroll system or prepared in Mudad itself, and the programme then compares it with the documented contract in Qiwa and the wage registered with GOSI.

What it means for HR

  • Upload within the deadline. Since March 2025 the file must be uploaded within 30 days.
  • Most rejections are data problems: a wrong ID number, or a pay change made in payroll but not in the contract or GOSI.
  • Don’t pay in cash. Cash wages are invisible to the programme.

Check your file before uploading with the Mudad file validator, and read the WPS and Mudad guide.
