Free HR software for up to 10 employees

What you get for free

RafiqHR’s Free plan is not a time-limited trial: you can use it for as long as you have 10 employees or fewer. It includes:

• Employee records and org chart: each employee’s details, contract, job and department in one record.
• Leave under the Saudi Labour Law: leave types, balances, requests and approvals.
• Bilingual letters with QR verification: salary certificates, experience letters and more, which the receiver can verify by scanning the code.
• Employee self-service: employees request their own leave and letters from the app.
• Policies with acknowledgements: publish a policy and see who has read it.
• Rafiq AI: answers HR and policy questions, issues letters and files leave requests, each action approved by the right person.

What the Free plan does not include

Payroll and attendance start on the Essentials plan at 7 SAR per employee per month: Saudi payroll with GOSI, the Mudad wage file export, end of service and final settlement, and attendance by phone with shifts. Paid plans are billed for at least 20 employees and at least 1,200 SAR a year, and every price is published on the pricing page.

Is the free HR system right for you?

A free HR system or Excel?

Many small companies start with Excel, which works for a handful of people. A spreadsheet does not keep a history of changes, cannot let employees request their own leave, and cannot issue a letter anyone can verify. If you want to stay on Excel for now, we have free payroll and attendance templates, and you can move into the system later by importing your data from Excel with the import templates.
