Exit re-entry visa
Also known as: خروج وعودة · re-entry visa · exit and re-entry
An exit re-entry visa lets a non-Saudi worker leave Saudi Arabia and come back within a set period without cancelling their iqama. The employer issues it through Muqeem or Absher Business, for a single trip or multiple trips, the fee depends on the type and duration, and the iqama must be valid.
How it works
The visa is issued before travel, with its type and duration. Indicative fees: 200 SAR for a single trip of up to two months plus 100 SAR for each extra month, and 500 SAR for multiple trips of up to three months plus 200 SAR for each extra month. Check the current fees before issuing.
What it means for HR
- Link it to the leave request: it is usually issued once annual leave is approved.
- Track the return date. A worker who does not return within the validity affects their residency and the establishment.
- Make sure the iqama stays valid for the whole trip.
