Frequently asked questions

How much GOSI is deducted from a Saudi employee’s pay?

Under the earlier law 9% annuities and 0.75% SANED: 9.75% of basic plus housing. For those with no contributions before 3 July 2024 the annuity share rises in steps: 10% from July 2026.

Is GOSI deducted from a non-Saudi’s pay?

No. The employer pays 2% occupational hazards and nothing is taken from a non-Saudi worker’s wage, so no deduction on their payslip is correct.

Why does my net pay change month to month?

Usually absence, sick leave at reduced pay, overtime, an advance being repaid or an allowance paid yearly. The explanation points to the line that changed.
